Watch the video for a travel update from Dr. Terry Sellke

The island is listed by the government as a category 3 warning. This means there is risk going there. Isn’t that so anywhere, even at home? Let me put your fears to rest:

  • The island has had very strict lockdown regulations in past months and a very good vaccination rate.

  • ALL visitors arriving will be required to either provide evidence of a negative Covid antigen test within 48 hours of arriving or they will need to submit to a Covid test upon arrival at the airport with results to you in a couple hours.

  • The island Covid procedures and protocols are as good as at home

  • Going home all attendees must get a Covid test (have negative results) to board a flight to USA. This is true for a flight from anywhere outside the USA back home. The hotel offers and schedules for you this test the appropriate hours before departure on the property as well as a notification of results to your email address and your phone.

  • There is a cost for the Covid tests. The cost is about $100/person

  • All information and communications are via an app you download connecting you with the Aruba Health Services

  • I have been to Aruba 4 times since November. I have had no problems nor hassles. Very well done!!!

  • Considering the risk is absolutely no greater than going to Florida, I’d rather go to Aruba for the amenities and guaranteed weather.

  • Finally, who knows what the restrictions will be by February. They will very likely be relaxed.
